The Pennsylvania Career Fire Chiefs Association (PACFCA) is the recognized statewide organization supporting the interest of all Pennsylvania Fire Departments containing a career fire chief, no matter the status of first responders (career, combination, paid-on-call, or volunteer). Today, the PACFCA represents over 130 active career fire chiefs serving among Pennsylvania's largest to smallest cities, towns, boroughs, and townships. In addition, over 250 retired fire chiefs continue their role in the alumni section of the association.
The PACFCA provides a variety of programs and services to its active and alumni membership. Triannually the PACFCA meets at various host municipalities during a two-day training, education, and professional development workshop, legislative advocacy, information sharing and peer to peer networking during these training conferences.
The PACFCA Executive Board strives to ensure our partnering community's life and safety priorities are at the forefront of every elected official in Pennsylvania when casting their vote on legislative matters.
