After more than four decades of dedicated service, Fire Chief Frank Guido has retired from the Kingston/Forty Fort Fire Department. Chief Guido began his career in 1978 and has played a vital role in protecting and serving the Luzerne County community for 46 years. Throughout his long tenure, Guido has led efforts to modernize department operations and has mentored countless firefighters and emergency personnel.

Under Chief Guido's leadership, the fire department has responded to numerous emergencies, improved training programs, and prioritized the safety of residents and first responders alike. Colleagues describe him as a mentor who set a high standard for professionalism and commitment.

As he steps into retirement, Chief Guido looks back on his career with pride, noting the strong bonds formed within the department and the meaningful work accomplished as a team. The Kingston/Forty Fort Fire Department will continue serving the community and building on the foundation established by Chief Guido over his remarkable career.
