Once a fire chief, always a leader

The Pennsylvania Career Fire Chiefs Association is proud to recognize our members who retire from the fire service and move into the next chapter of their careers.

Today, we celebrate a special moment as we recognize Chief Evan Kardosh of the City of Meadville. After dedicating his talents, experience, and leadership to the fire service, Chief Kardosh is taking those same qualities to the Borough of Greenville, where he will serve as Municipal Manager.

Our members are counted on to lead—not only during emergencies, but every day in the communities they serve. Chief Kardosh’s continued commitment to public service is a great example of that leadership.

Congratulations, Chief Kardosh, on this next chapter! We thank you for your years of service to the fire service and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will continue to make in your new role.
